New Member Information

Before you can join the club you must possess a current PAL/FAC (Possession and Acquisition License). If you do not have one, any of our directors will be able to advise you on how to apply for it.

The first step is to fill out an application form. If you are already known by other members, you will need two of them to sign as your sponsor. Should you not know a member that can speak on your behalf, then your application might take a little longer to process.

Hand your completed application and a cheque to cover the initiation fee and membership dues to the club secretary. Current fees are a one time charge of $250.00 for the initiation, and an annual membership fee of $250.00 per calendar year + G.S.T. If you are joining part-way through the year, the membership fee will be pro-rated. Our secretary will be able to give you this figure at the time.

Your application will then be reviewed by the Board, after which you will need to come on a regular shooting day for an interview. Following the interview you will be notified if you have been accepted.

From the time your cheque and application has been received you will be able to shoot skeet, trap and sporting clays under the supervision of a member. You will not be allowed to use the rifle range until you have been accepted into the club, and a membership card has been issued.

Membership also includes a member's immediate family. Immediate family covers a spouse and children under the age of 21 living at home. They will have the same privileges as the member. Extra family membership cards can be issued at the club at any time. The signed up member must be present and responsible for family members when at the club. Membership cards must be worn and clearly visible when on club property. The cashier has the authority to refuse shooting privileges to anybody not displaying a current membership card.

Once a member, you are welcome and encouraged to bring guests. Your guest will be asked to sign an indemnity form, and will be under your supervision while on club property. Since our club is financed by its members, we feel that a guest who uses our facilities more than three times in one year be expected to join and thereby help in the expense of running the club.

Guests are limited to Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesday afternoons on the rifle range. Members who wish to take a guest to the rifle range must first take the guest to the clubhouse to register and sign an indemnity form. For safety reasons and courtesy of other members, we must limit the number of guests to one per member at any one time.
